ペタンクは本来団体戦ですが、選手個々の成果に頼ることの多いスポーツであります。しかし上手い戦術が下されれば、それは完璧でない投球を補うことができるし、ゲームの状況に求められている効果的なティールを狙い通りに実行できるに違いありません。ペタンク・シングルス戦はあなたの競技技術を向上させるのに最適なのです。

あなた自身がヘッドコーチであり、ティルールであり、ポワントゥールです。3球を屈指しながら、あなたはほとんどすべての試合の対戦中に、ティールをすべき場面に直面することでしょう。ペタンク・シングルス戦の勝者には、失投が少ないか、または大きなミスがあまりない人が多いのです。プレーするブール3球全部が残ってはいない状況に対戦相手がすぐにつけこんでくることにあなたが気づき、そこでティールが完璧に実行されるなら、それが最高のティールと言えるのです。

JPBUが後援するシングルス・チャンピオンリーグは、競技ペタンクを志向するすべての人に公開されています。８〜１０月にかけて行われる3回の競技会を通じてチャンピオンを決定します。各競技会の総計ポイントに基づくランキングは、国際大会の日本代表チームの選手を選考する際の参考成績になることでしょう。

Petanque is a team sport, which very much depends on the individual performance of each member. Although good tactical decisions can often cover up for less than perfect shot execution, each team member should aim to be able to skillfully execute every shot which the game’s situation requires. Singles petanque matches are perfect to hone your overall playing skills.

When you play singles, you are the head coach, the shooter and the pointer. Playing three boules, you will face the full-range of shot-making decisions in almost every match. The winner of a singles petanque match is often the one who makes fewer, or less critical, mistakes. The heroic shot is only rewarded if perfectly executed, as the opponent is able to quickly take advantage of a situation where not all three boules are kept in play.

The JPBU Singles Champions League Competition is open to every person with the desire to play competitive petanque. Three competitions held over the next few months will determine a champion. Moreover, the ranking determined by the aggregate points from each competition will be an important factor in choosing the players for teams to represent Japan in international Petanque matches.
