NPO法人日本ペタンクリーグ主催、第６回シングルス全日本選手権大会は京都府下丹波地方にある三和町で開催がされる。三和町は本年、町制50周年を迎えると同時に福知山市との合併が決定しており、これを記念してのシングルス全日本選手権大会誘致となった。みんなのスポーツであり、また競技スポーツでもあるペタンクを同町で普及すべく、三和町は屋内コートの設置を検討している。国際基準に合致した屋内球技場が建設されれば、当地での国際大会開催もかなり現実味を帯びてくる。同町挙げてのビッグで夢のある大会に、全国のトップアスリートが参加されることが期待される。

JPBU後援 第６回シングルス全日本選手権大会は、競技ペタンクを志向する全てのプレーヤーを対象としています。試合結果はJPBU総合ランキングに算入されます。

The (NPO) Japan Petanque League is organizing the 6th All Japan Singels Petanque Torunament in Miwa-cho, Kyoto Prefecture. On the occasion of Miwa-cho and Fukuchiyama City's 50th anniversary of joint municipal organization, it was decided to include this All-Japan petanque tournamet in the schedule of festivities. Furthermore, Miwa-cho is also examining the project to set up an indoor Petanque facility. If such a facility, meeting with global standard for international Petanque games, is going to become a reality, the town is looking at the big dream of being host to top Petanque athletes from all over the country in the future.

The JPBU-sponsored 6th All-Japan Singels Petanque Torunament is open to every person with the desire to play competitive Petanque. The results will be included in the JPBU Total-Ranking.
